What is Header?

Hey there! We're Tam and Stephen, two ex-FAANG engineers who became friends in Seattle back in 2016.

You know that feeling when you're scrolling through your feed, you find a killer blog post, think "I should follow this person," but then realize you're already drowning in RSS feeds and unread newsletters. So you just... don't. And you never see their stuff again.

Header started because we both had the same annoying problem: We could only genuinely follow a handful of topics deeply. Everything beyond that became noise. We kept finding high quality content from niche creators but couldn't follow them all. The mental cost of another subscription was just too high. Modern LLMs changed the equation - suddenly this problem felt solvable.

So we built Header to save ourselves time and mental energy while also enabling us to follow all the topics we’re interested in. We don't compete for your attention. You bring the creators you trust, we filter for what matters to you. No engagement games. In fact, our ideal vision for Header is that you use our product less frequently as it improves. We want you to use our briefings to decide what content to fully consume.
